Opal by Jennifer L. Armentrout: Book Review

Rating: 3/5

Read: Aug 14th, 2017

So I was pleasantly surprised by this book! I thought the first book was okay, and found the second really boring, but this one was a bit of a step up! (hallelujah)

I did however read the other two books 3 years ago(!) so I did have to reintroduce myself to the characters and story, which could’ve played a role in my enjoyment level.

I’ve never been the biggest fan of Katy and Daemon’s relationship (I know! Unpopular opinion alert!), and that still hasn’t really changed.

Again, the plot was very slow and I once again feel like not a lot happened, but maybe that’s just how these books are.

I didn’t hate this, didn’t love it, but it was quite entertaining. One thing Armentrout knows how to do is write some seriously funny content. (Pretty sure I LOL’d multiple times)

This review is super short because I honestly don’t have too much to say (oops)

I am definitely looking forward to reading the final two books, seeing where the story is going to go, and tick off another series finished for the year!
