Hopeless by Colleen Hoover: Book Review

Rating: 4.5/5

Read: Aug 10th, 2017

I’ve said it 100 times before, and I’ll say it again… Colleen Queen Hoover can do no wrong!!!

I have yet to read a book by her that I didn’t like, sure I’ve liked some more than others, but I truly don’t think she could write a book that I blatantly don’t like.

This book was heartbreaking, beautiful, funny and gave me allll the feels on the feels scale, literally from complete opposite ends of it.

The characters in this book were brilliant, I love every single one of Colleen’s characters, that and her plot twists are what make her book so incredible.

Sky and Holder were once again, an amazing couple to add to my list of favourite Hoover couples. I seriously need to reread all her books to determine my favourite/make a list!

The characters were raw, real and so fun to read about, as I always do with her books, I really felt what our protagonist was feeling. You really do fall into this story and world.

I’ve read so many Colleen books that I did manage to guess various parts of the major plot twists this time around, but there were still some that managed to shock me. Yet, the fact that I figured it out didn’t make the impact any less crazy or heartbreaking.

I don’t want to say too much about this book, because I truly think you should go into it knowing nothing.

———————————————————-

Once again, a brilliant novel from Colleen Hoover! It was so exciting be able to add this one to my never ending collection of her books, and I cannot wait to add Without Merit when it comes out in a few months time.
